+Wilson Hines I haven't known him long enough for us to be proper friends, nor are we so distant that he's a stranger. We've actually met, but I'm very sensitive about labeling people 'friend' to early. The only word I had was the impersonal, but well intentioned, associate!

"Associate" works, for lack of a better word. I hadn't actually thought about familiar variations.

+Victoria Foreman told me she had different circles of "friends", but she reminded me of Dante when she told me about it. I was wondering whether I'd also have Virgil as my guide navigating her circles. ;)

I don't think my circles are so striated as hers. My friendship comes easily so long as people are honest with me. Once lost, my trust isn't so quickly returned. In that sense, I'm not that much different than my dog. =)

Or my cat (the orange one). Slow to trust, but quick to love. Or as my brother says, 'love all ,trust few.' I am thrilled to be getting to know you, +Ken Foreman and I'm looking forward to meeting +Kiyomi Foreman and +Victoria Foreman in a slightly more formal setting!
