I doubt Ayn Rand or Thomas Aquinas would have much praise for Ryan, but…

The head of the Atlas Society, an organization devoted to philosopher Ayn Rand, praised Mitt Romney’s choice of Paul Ryan as “great news… The influence of Rand on Ryan is a huge step forward for the liberty movement.”

But earlier this year, Ryan said “I reject her philosophy.  It’s an atheist philosophy. Give me Thomas Aquinas. Don’t give me Ayn Rand.”

Ryan’s disavowal’s comes after years of promoting Rand’s books.
