Some kids awoke on Christmas morning to find an Apple ][ under their Christmas tree. I awoke to a TRS-80 Model III on December 25th, 1980.
With a floppy of TRS-DOS in hand, a RS-232 cable, and a cassette deck with Frogger on tape… my eyes were opened to PC gaming, programming (BASIC, Z80 ASM), Compuserve (C$, $10/hr), Zork, and MUD'ing.

I remember using data cassettes and 5 1/2 floppies. I had a Tandy Coco III…it was cool, but now I have all Mac's. I am blessed.

I have fond memories of the Tandy Color Computer, but I never had a CoCo. After having the TRS-80 Model III, I had the model 2000SX. I got my first SoundBlaster card with the Tandy 2000SX, and I thought it was incredible! I would spend hours writing and listening to MIDI.
